The Sunrise Puako Bliss

Some mornings just feel special from the start. From the beginning, we wanted their day to feel easy and stress-free. As the sun came up, the whole day flowed naturally. Kris, aka Couple Cups photography, photographed the morning with honest, calm, and full of who they are feelings. This Puako sunrise was simple, beautiful, and full of heart.

Sandra and Kris brought our elopement in Hawaii to a level that we could never have gotten to on our own. The planning process was thoughtful and considerate, and on the day of, Sandra was a warm, calm, and reassuring presence that made everything feel effortless, and as if we were being supported from every angle. She instinctively knew what to say and do, when to give us space, and when to guide us gracefully into the next part of the morning, when to suggest we shift or adjust where we were standing to find a place of both meaning and beautiful photography.
Sandra created the space we needed to be fully present, and Kris photographed it all with such a natural ease that we often forgot there was even a camera at all, and just experienced the ceremony as us in our own special time and place. It felt timeless and yet very personal. We were completely at ease and supported, so that we were able to soak up every second of our day. We can’t say enough how much we loved their work, and would recommend them to everyone.
